SOPHIE MOOS   |  FOUNDER

An interior designer based in New York, Sophie Moos has worked for two decades for an impressive roster of US and international clients who rely on her extensive knowledge of art, art furniture and spatial architecture to create uniquely sophisticated contemporary interiors for their apartments, homes and boats.

Born in France, Sophie has lived in several countries including Germany and Israel and has developed an extensive network amongst industrial design suppliers and high-end artisans that she has collaborated with to produce unique solutions for her clients’ needs.

Her interiors have a fluid, contemporary flair and a sense of understated luxury created by carefully chosen pieces that work together to produce an original, artistic harmony. Each room is treated as a tableau that conveys calm, comfort and aesthetic originality.

JENS AHLEMEYER | DESIGN CONSULTANT

Jens Ahlemeyer is a German-born interior designer. He earned his master’s degree in industrial design from the Technical College of Darmstadt in 1989. His education and experience in Europe, alongside his intimate understanding of the United States, gives him a special understanding of the nuance of culture in the context of design.

Jens supervised myriad architectural projects such as the design of a trade show exhibit and a workspace. For many years Jens worked as a senior art director at DDC New York and is currently a part-time professor of Furniture and Product Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology.

Jens believes that a good designer is willing to question all aspects of the built environment – he or she responds to changes in society, weighs the ecological impact of certain choices and examines the contribution of design to the quality of living.
